Panda Game 2k16

The Pedro Protection Unit does it again. On October 1st, your Carleton Ravens faced the uOttawa Gee-Gees in the 4th annual Panda Game.

After selling out of our tickets, Red Zone was looking forward to a hype game, and you guys did not disappoint! The atmosphere was insane, and the turnout was fantastic. The Ravens dominated from early on, and a fake punt – that barely anyone saw, or even knew about, the players included – was the highlight of the game for many people. Red Zone extends a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out! The game set a new record for highest attendance at a regular season CIS football game with over 23, 000 fans in attendance.

Compared to the last two years the ending of the game wasn’t incredibly dramatic (hail Mary pass or OT win, anyone?), but that did nothing to lessen the enthusiasm coming from the Raven’s side. We cheered uOttawa right out of the stands, and chased them off the field. Victory never tastes as sweet as when it’s against the Gee-Gees.

NEXT UP: Colonel By Classic. October 19th. TD Place. Be there for the start of a new tradition.
